Too often having made a fool of himself, he does not speak much, and prefer action over discussion. # Background Pieter came to Durenmar as an orphan a long time ago, and he was raised by a pious maid who taught him to put his faith in God. Because of his physical virtues, he was soon recruited to the turb and trained as a shield grog, but he maintained the bond to his foster mother and her pious ways. Having no children of her own, she gifted him with the relic, a fingerbone in a chain, when he first left to see battle.
