SQ 11(-3 due to Gift) # Winter ## Ilse's blessing > In late Autumn 1230, Ilse tells you that her divine gifts seem to have deserted her. But she received a vision that she can restore them if she collects the blood of a saint. And it seems to be buried in a marble statue in a cave, but she has no idea where that cave is. Naturally, she is quite distraught. A few days into Winter, a message arrives from the mine, that they have come across a natural cavern, but there's some metal gate, and on it what appears to be letters in a strange language. Upon hearing this, Ilse will say this must be the cave from her vision. ### Session 2024-04-09 **Cast** Andreas. Werner. Honeystocker, Volkert The mine is three days' travel from the covenant. In the mine they find the metal gate, locked and in pristine condition. Andreas opens the lock with a spell. Inside they find the skeletons of four people, one fairly intact and the others more scattered. The cavern is round, 3m diameter, with a cross carved in the wall opposite the entrance. The wall around the cross is smooth, in an area 1½m wide and 2½m high. The cross marks a door which Honeystocker is able to open, after sensing a room behind it, and the find stairs leading down to a square room, six meters by six. A marble statue rises out of a hole in the floor, from the floor below. Stairs lead down to the floor below. About half way down there is a tunnel leading away, that looks as if it has been dug out by some monster eating through the rock. Beyond the room with the statue, there is a small room with three chests. + The largest one, a meter wide, contains coins, mainly silver, and a few gems. The make of the coins is unknown. + One chest contains a sword and a silk shirt with divine powers + The last chest contains a book with obscure writing. It could be a lab text, but probably not one useable to ordinary Hermetic magi. Upstairs there is a short flight of stairs leading up into a room full of wrecked furniture. There is a sanctum marker on the wall, but the sigil is unknown, and the room is too small for an ordinary lab. A book is found in the debris. + Holy Magic Summa L4Q8 ![The Orthodox Priest](PF.png) + **Source Quality** 8 + **Confidence points** +2 + **Duration** 8 days ## Downtime + Artal reads Perdo Tractatus "Occidere Magicis" 8Q8 + Gertrude teaches Artes Liberales to Bastion.
