This letter grants Andreas of Jerbiton, currently residing at the covenant Oculus Sepentrionalis, full Quaesitorial authority to pursue the following investigation.
In the spring of 1220 - whilst recovering a girl, Ilse, to whom Andreas is connected personnaly - Andreas was attacked without warning by a man, presumed a magician, of Norse descent. This has been verified as truth by Serapis of Guernicus.
It is believed that the man may be connected to Helena of Flambeau - who also lays claim to the girl, Ilse - although this has been denied by Helena of Flambeau.
The investigation should identify and locate the 'Norse magician'.
The investigation should establish what his connection is with with Helena of Flambeau.
This authority expires on the full moon prior to the Rhine Tribunal meeting of 1228. Andreas will present his findings in the matter to the presiding Queasitor at this Tribunal.
