Crintera, the Domus Magna of House Bjornaer, is hidden in a multi level regio deep in the forests on the isle of Rugen.

There are only six permanent resident magi are the members of the Bjornaer council, each a representative of one of the six clans that make up the house.

Clan Iltefu

Iltefu is the smallest of the Bjornaer clans, there are only 7 members.

• Artal. Recently gauntleted, initially apprenticed to Phillipa of clan Sirnas. Stayed at Crintera, studying under Ardea.

Initiations of Clan Iltefu

Clan Iltefu is the keeper of the House mysteries, as such each member of the clan is expected to learn all the house rituals, so that they may perform the initiations for other members of the house.
Once the mystagogue has mastered the House mysteries, he will be instructed in the Clan mysteries.
It is not necessary to undergo the initiations to be able to perform them, but the process of initiating others is much easier if the mystagogue has already been initiated.

Ritual of Twelve Years

The most important function of the clan, one that the entire house depends on, is the initiation of the Heartbeast. Without this knowledge the house would cease to be. Thus it is vital for the continuity of the house that young Iltefu magi to learn this rite as soon as possible.
