Silver Stocks £500 or a bit more

Silver income £100/year (typical source: cattle) With the new magi joining, this is not sufficient, and the covenant will run at deficit of about £50/year not conunting travel expences and other irregular and semi-regular costs. This is not an immediate problem, and the stocks can sustain this for 5-10 years.

Vis

Following continental practice, the magi of Elk’s Run tend to harvest and stock up on Vis. This is controversial though, and the practice varies somewhat.

The sources are on Hermetically recognised property unless stated otherwise.

The table is up for review There should probably be more stocks.

The foul pits (

Behind the covenant there are several muddy and foul-smelling pits, 3-6 feet deep. The mud should be stirred on All Saint’s Eve, and a number of shiny stones, shaped like human skulls, surface during the night. Each one is worth 1p Perdo vis.

• 2x Aura (Site, minor). The covenant has a magical aura of 5.
• Important Buildint (Fortification, minor)

Hooks

• Contested Resource (Resources, minor). The covenant has a vis source outside its own land, so that it is not protected by Hermetic law.
• Superiors (Inhabitants, minor). The resources are controlled by the three senior magi. The junior magi (PCs) have well-regulated rights, which are linked to obligations.
• Vis Salary (Resources, minor). (Part of Superiors above)
• ? Suffrage (Inhabitants, minor) The covenant grants equal rights to men and women. This is, theoretically, sinful and likely to incite contempt of the covenant’s officials by outsiders.
• ? Public Vis Source (Relations, minor): One or more of the covenant’s vis sources has had its location and method of harvesting precisely written into a ruling of the Peripheral Code. The covenant unquestionably owns the source, but any enemy wishing to make mischief knows exactly where the covenant’s vis comes from.
