The Monster in Nenagh

Una, Marcus, and Richard defeats a dragon in Nenagh.

Una and Marcus strikes a deal with a magus named Marlowe whom they met in the dragon’s den. He will teach one of them for a season per year. Marlowe makes a ritual so that Una and Marcus are the only ones to remember the meeting.

Richard receives a steed and a hound from the lord of the manor, and is adopted as his heir.

The monolith

Dermot and Seafraid investigates a talking monolith at the top of the valley from the covenant.

Spring 1219

Cieran, Seafraid, and Johanna Piper takes a quick trip to Praesis to buy books for Oswald. Marcus joined them in the beginning, but returned over a disagreement about how to treat the Coil Tri.

It was a quick story, as the magi declined the challenge to retrieve a vis source from a sea monster.

Autumn 1219

Una, Marcus, and sir Richard travel to investigate rumours about some Silvery Wolves East/SouthEast of Cashel. The rumours direct them to the Great Valley of Sidh Feimen on the border between Munster and Leinster, but the wolves have been sighted in a wide area, extending to Cashel. Their journey takes them through Cashel.

The meet Cierella, a faerie lady, and take part in her Games.
They win a total of 7p vis, 1p won by each magus, and 5p by mundane contestants. The covenant pays £2 for the vis from Richard’s party of mercenaries.

As they leave, the opponents confront them, saying that their masters, magi of Ashenrise, will not be pleased, and that this will not be the last of the matter.
